Role Summary

The Temporary Staffing team are looking to recruit a Temporary Staffing Coordinator who is highly motivated and who is able to work on their own initiative to coordinate all temporary staffing requirements for Medical, Dental and AHPs via both agencies and internal bank.

The Temporary Staffing Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to all Care Groups across the Trust and will provide a high quality responsive service ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of that service and act as a point of contact for Departments in the procuring of temporary staff.

We are a small team providing support to all departments in the Trust in providing temporary staffing solutions. You will be the first point of contact for temporary workers and Line Managers as well as external clients. The post holder will provide an end to end temporary staffing service including bank recruitment, bank system administration, management and coordination of agency booking. 

The successful candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, enjoy working within a busy environment, are able to prioritise their workload and can work well under pressure. Experience working within an administration role and experience in using IT applications and software is essential, knowledge of working in a hospital environment is desirable for this role, but not essential.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven experience in dealing with service users. You will be flexible and adaptable with excellent IT skills.

You will need to enjoy the challenge of working as part of a small team yet have the ability to use your own initiative to meet the changing needs of the department.

Working Pattern: 33.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
