This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician with proven outpatient and inpatient skills at Specialist level or an aspiring Junior Physiotherapist with appropriate relevant experience.

We require an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Physiotherapist with sound musculoskeletal skills to work across our dynamic, aspirational Physiotherapy Outpatient and Orthopaedic inpatient services.

The post is rotational throughout all Outpatient Physiotherapy teams in North Devon and Orthopaedics at Northern Devon District Hospital including elective, trauma and Orthopaedic Supported discharge services. The post holder would provide specialist musculoskeletal outpatient assessment and treatment to the local population. On part of the rotation contribute to good clinical outcomes for inpatients as reported on the National Hip data base.

The post holder will be supported by Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and will mentor Junior Physiotherapists. You would need to be confident to work as an independent practitioner and have excellent Musculoskeletal, communication and organisational skills.

We provide regular in service training, excellent supervision and encourage peer support. We support continuous professional development, external courses and flexible working. We have a team of expert clinicians with post graduate qualifications who will encourage and support you to reach your potential.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Outpatient service) / rolling 7 day working pattern (inpatient service).

Based at North Devon District Hospital, South Molton, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Torrington and Holsworthy hospital sites.

Discuss requirements to support respiratory weekend and evening on call rosters on the Acute site.
