Role Summary
We are seeking a part-time Band 3 Administrator to support our waiting list validation process and the requirement to contact patients, who are on Referral to Treatment pathways, every 12 weeks. The post holder will work closely with our communication provider (Dr Doctor), ensuring the correct cohort of patients are contacted and then actioning responses from patients and liaising with specialties. There may also be a requirement to support with contacting patients for Mutual Aid purposes (transferring patients to other healthcare providers for treatment). The role will involve a lot of telephone calling and receiving. The role is primarily to engage with as many patients as possible so out of hour/evening/weekend working is optional. Hybrid working home/office also optional. Please note that we do however require office cover on Fridays. We have a small team covering both Eastern and Northern sites, which forms part of the Central Access and Validation Team. Candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of communication and telephone manner, organisational and troubleshooting skills and be able to adapt as the service develops and grows. A good working knowledge of RTT admin pathways on EPIC is desirable but not essential.
Working Pattern: 1 x position available at 30 hours per week (based at Bowmoor House, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital). Hybrid working with office cover required on Fridays.
