An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled, experienced Physiotherapists to join the Physiotherapy Team as part of a Band 6 Medical / Respiratory rotation at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We have permanent and fixed term positions available. Both roles are 37.5 hours/week position.
The roles are responsible for providing leadership & clinical expertise on a 12-month rotational basis. This role is in development and we hope to offer rotations across to respiratory medicine, acute medicine, general medicine, health for older people and cystic fibrosis.

The post-holder will assess and treat patients with complex respiratory conditions including acute admissions and chronic and life-limiting cases. Clinical responsibilities include gathering comprehensive baseline data as part of the assessment process; developing and implementing patient specific plans; management of acute respiratory conditions and progressive rehabilitation. There will be an expectation to liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective discharge or transfer to on-going services within the patient pathway as appropriate. The position carries a responsibility to support overnight on-call, weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
Working Pattern: 08:15 - 16:30 Monday - Friday. Weekends, bank holidays and on-call duties on a rota basis.
