The post holder is expected to comply with Trust Infection Control Policies and conduct him/herself at all times in such a manner as to minimise the risk of healthcare associated infection.
To participate in flexible working arrangements including late duties, bank holidays and on call as appropriate. Please note that in order to deliver a high standard of care to patients the Pharmacy service operates 7 days a week and staff are therefore required to work some weekends as part of their contracted hours.

We currently have a full time vacancy for a Pharmacy Band 2 Assistant Technical Officer in the Distribution section of Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day supply of drugs to wards, clinics and the assembly of orders for dispatch to external customers. You will use the pharmacy stock control system to maintain stock levels both within the department and throughout the Trust. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount. You will be supported and trained to work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures in everything you do.
This role could lead to potential future career opportunities in the pharmacy environment.
Any successful applicant for the above post will be expected to participate in flexible working which will include weekend, late duty and bank holiday rotas.
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week – part and full time hours will be considered.
