Clinical Practice Facilitator- Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist

Role Summary

This role will involve working in clinical practice alongside newly qualified and overseas AHP colleagues to provide 1 to 1 support and learning in their role. In this role you will be responsible for supporting staff with their clinical practice, completing competencies and documentation required for the role along with some formal teaching including OT in a week. 

As part of this role, you will be required to deliver trust agendas to therapy services including AHP preceptorship, AHP return to practice and in the future international recruitment of AHP colleagues. This role is mainly clinical based working out of the therapies department with a requirement for some teaching and education sessions delivery. 

The postholder will work closely with nursing colleagues who support with the preceptorship, return to practice and international nursing recruitment programs. 

This role is being offered as a secondment until December 2023 at 22.5 hours per week (Hours flexible and negotiable).

Are you a keen, positive and self motivated AHP with a strong interest in Education and teaching? 

Are you passionate and proactive about supporting AHP colleagues in clinical practice? 

If so then this role could be for you. An opportunity has arisen for a AHP (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join the Practice Education Team on a secondment until December 2023 to teach and support other AHP colleagues in their own work. This will include newly qualified staff and new starters to the trust.

Working Pattern: 08:30-16:30 (negotiable)
