We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager to the Centre of Excellence for Eyes at the Nightingale Hospital on a substantive basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to apply and be part of the Clinical Team, leading the Ophthalmology team across the theatre, day case unit and outpatients at NHE.

The Clinical Nurse Manager will create, lead, and be responsible for maintaining a Nursing culture which is open to change, new ideas, concepts and innovation. They will provide inspirational and motivational clinical leadership to their teams of Nurses to ensure the highest standards of nursing care. They are a role model for all staff and will excel at collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.

Relevant clinical and management experience for this post would include experience of ophthalmology pathways management from pre-assessment to discharge, rostering and leading the clinical team over a 6 day operating week, working alongside our multi-disciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Ophthalmology team are able to work at pace, efficiently and safely.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours over 4 days 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekends)
