The Urology Department at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust based in Exeter is a dynamic tertiary referral unit and offers many of the major sub-specialty services. This is a replacement post and the successful candidate will assist in the provision of urological services as well as gaining professional development in the areas of research, audit and teaching.

There is opportunity to apply for both Research and Clinical Fellow posts in the Urology at RDUH-Eastern based in Exeter. You will have responsibilities for:
- Flexible cystoscopy/haematuria lists in the endoscopy department.
- Telephone and/or face to face out-patient clinics
- Supporting the on-call consultant urologist with: ward work, inpatient referrals, GP referral letters and fast track referrals.
- There will be the opportunity to attend inpatient and day case theatre sessions with the consultants
Working Pattern: Mon-Fri 40 hr per week plus there is an on-call commitment in urology, which is currently one 24 hour period per week on a week day and one weekend in four , consisting of Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The appointee will have compensatory time off following on-call duties, which is currently one 1/2 day following an overnight on-call and two full days following a weekend on-call.
