We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate Assistant Practitioner to join our busy and friendly Urology Team.
In this role you will become part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, patient-centred care to patients undergoing investigation, treatment and follow-up for a wide range of urological conditions.
As an Assistant Practitioner, you will work alongside registered nurses, doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care. You will be expected to work with a degree of autonomy within your scope of practice, while recognising when advice or support is required.
This role provides specialist urology care to patients with a variety of bladder dysfunction bladder outlet obstruction from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. You will perform specialised clinical skills and various urological investigations and procedures such as TWOC clinics, ISC teaching, SPC change, catheter education, assisting with diagnostic tests: Urodynamic investigation, Flexible cystoscopy and adjuvant treatments and prostate biopsies.
