Role Summary
As the Workforce Product Support Manager, you will support the implementation and ongoing development of our Medical rostering system, working closely with stakeholders across the Trust to ensure the system is fully utilised and delivering value.
You will work with our suppliers and end users to test, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and contribute to strategies that improve user satisfaction and adoption. As part of the People Directorate, you will play a key role in delivering operational functionality to patient-facing colleagues, and workforce intelligence capability to the wider organisation.

More detail about the role
A key part of the role will be working with users across the Trust to manage the activities relating to product support. The product you will be supporting is the Medical rostering system — used to plan, manage and report on the deployment of our Medical & Dental workforce. The system is central to how the Trust delivers and monitors safe, sustainable clinical services, and the role you will play in supporting it is critical.
This is a particularly exciting time to join the team. The Trust is delivering the Standardised Doctor Rostering Implementation Programme (SDRIP) — a major programme to consolidate all Medical & Dental rostering onto a single system, deliver ESR interfaces for digital pay and absence, and build the data infrastructure to support Trustwide workforce intelligence. You will play a key role in this work, contributing directly to service onboarding, central reporting configuration, and the operationalisation of new system features.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to build and sustain strong working relationships across a varied stakeholder base — including clinical and service leadership, rota coordinators, payroll, digital teams, and the system supplier. You will need to understand what users need from the system and how to leverage it to maximise optimisation, including looking ahead at future product releases to test, implement and embed changes that reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
Experience with rostering systems and data is an advantage but not essential. If you are organised, analytical, and motivated by working at the intersection of people, systems and data - and want to play a key role in shaping how a complex workforce is managed and understood - we would love to hear from you.
Feel free to get in touch to find out more about this important role in our team.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday; Flexible Hours; Part-Time Considered
