The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients entering any of the Women’s Health departments. The post holder will deal with routine queries and provide information to patients’, relatives and staff either face to face or over the phone.

We are looking for a new Receptionist in the Women’s Health Team. The successful candidate will need to possess good keyboard skills and have experience of working in a busy, challenging environment. The working rota will include general reception duties, meeting and greeting the patients and visitors to the department, answering the telephone to enquiries, booking and cancelling appointments, waiting list management, filing, clinic preparation of medical records, assisting all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team and communicating the relevant information in a timely way. Good communication skills are essential for this role and also the ability to cope under pressure. You will need to be confident working both in a team, and working independently.
We are looking to recruit someone who has exceptional IT and record keeping skills and a knowledge regarding confidentiality and data protection. If you believe you have good customer service skills with a pleasant professional manner, then please apply. NHS experience is desirable but not essential, full training will be given.
Working Pattern: 24 hours per week (3 days a week, days to be confirmed).
