If so, we have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled, dynamic and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our team on MAU at our Northern site (Barnstaple), covering maternity leave for 12 months.

More detail about the role
The successful candidate will be already working at an experienced Junior Sister level and keen to develop to a Ward Manager/ Senior Sister. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their leadership ability and management skills and will lead by example to deliver excellence in patient care. Providing an opportunity to develop your professional accountability, innovative thinking and contribute to the clear vision for the unit through supporting and nurturing their team.
You will be supported by the Clinical Matron for MAU (Helen Yung), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and our Short Stay Unit (Alex Ward) who will work collaboratively with you to ensure that patient care, safety and experience is at the highest standard.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hrs per week. You will be expected to work long days, weekends, nights and bank holidays to cover the needs of the service.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
