This is a development role for those who are new to health care, therefore no formal experience is required. You only need the desire to help and care for people across the Tiverton and Cullompton area. We have opportunities to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust UCR team front line staff providing support to patients at home. This includes following discharge from hospital after illness or surgery and also help with End-of-Life care.
You will be travelling across a wide geographical area linked to one or more of these bases. You must demonstrate willingness and flexibility to work across multiple sites and localities as the need arises.
It is essential that you have a kind and caring nature, are patient and able to offer a friendly smile. You must feel comfortable working on your own supported by a team of professional colleagues. Duties will include provision of personal care, clinical duties were delegated, monitoring the patient's condition and working with health and social care professionals to ensure that patients are safe and well at home. You will need great interpersonal and communication skills to be able to connect with individuals with varying levels of understanding.

This is a permanent post, full-time and part-time applications welcome.
You must have a full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle (with appropriate business insurance) as you will be travelling to patients’ homes to care for them.

Working Pattern: 07.30-15.30 and 16.00-22.00. The service operates on a 7-day rota system between 07.30 - 22.00 including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
