Role Summary

  • Deputies’ for patient flow lead in aspects of patient flow and caseload of the Urgent Care Service: ensuring an efficient use of resources to meet demand and deploying staff as appropriate.
  • Deputies’ for Service lead in the effective management and leadership to the Response and Recovery Service.
  • Work with the Service lead and develop the service in line with patient need and trust wide developments and to help provide an equitable service across North Devon.
  • Promote collaborative working across all areas of short-term services and support on the further integration with Social Care Reablement, exploring opportunities to develop innovative roles.
  • Provide line management for support workers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, motivated and proactive individual to provide a wide and comprehensive range of support to the response and recovery support workers. You will be leading the team to deliver high quality care linking in with other health and social care teams. The role will include teaching and assessing competencies of staff. Also, part of the role will be to link with the patient flow team to provide clinical support with hospital discharge caseload management.

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Specialist for the Urgent Community Response Team here in North Devon, to join a highly enthusiastic and motivated team. The successful candidate will work in the community covering a Monday to Friday service from 9am-5pm on a full-time basis. They will be responsible for providing expert clinical support to the response and recovery support workers. Deal with any clinical issues for individual patients linking with community and health and social care teams to provide a patient centred service. Also, to deputise in aspects of patient flow and caseload, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet demand and deploy staff appropriately.  So, if this is something you also feel passionate about, we look forward to receiving your application.
