Role Summary
The post holder will:
- Assist in the day to day running of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit, including participating in cover of the gynae and maternity wards, gynae emergency patients in ED, labour ward triage and assisting at caesarean sections.
- Participate in the first on call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Provide input into the departments teaching/audit programme.
Clinical Experience
Essential
- Completion of Foundation Programme competencies or equivalent
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to at least FY2 level
- Ability to teach clinical skills
- Have a commitment to Continuing Medical Education / Continuing Professional Development
Qualifications
Essential
- Full GMC registration
- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent
Desirable
- MRCOG Part 1
- Has worked with in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to FY2 equivalent level

Trust Doctor ST1/2 Equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This is an exciting opportunity to join Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Trust Doctor within the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The job contract will be for a for a fixed term period until 3 October 2023 starting as soon as possible.
This post is designed for an individual with general Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience to at least FY2 equivalent level. It includes first on call. The post-holder must have current GMC registration.
