Role Summary
This post is a 6 month trust post contract and will be paid at the appropriate rate
Both the Trust and the Departments have a commitment to personal and professional development for each trainee/ trust doctor. We encourage and enable all doctors (whether locum or substantive) to gain required competencies and offer advice on preparation of a portfolio, which can be used as evidence to support applications to further Specialty Training. In particular, we have an excellent simulation suite and have recently appointed a Clinical Fellow to further develop the educational programme.
For applicants wishing to take up the post, appropriate clinical supervision, training and support will be provided and the department is familiar with the full range of trainees and portfolios.
Our Medical Education Department is readily available to offer support.

Applicants for this programme must hold a medical degree from an institution recognised by the GMC. They must have full GMC registration and a licence to practise. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate in English in a clinical environment and have NHS Experience’
Preference will be given to staff with ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon.
