Weekly working hours would be 24+ (6 PAs to 8 PAs - can be flexible)

Service opening hours:  Standard office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday with some overnight on-call telephone advice and 1 weekend in 6.  Office hours may run later if required.

Speciality Doctor for Children’s Sexual Abuse Assessment Service - Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly

Do you want to work in a state-of-the-art facility delivering nationally recognised exceptional care for children that have experienced sexual harm? Devon and Cornwall Sexual Assault Referral Centres are looking for doctor to join our clinical team in the delivery of services to children who have experienced sexual harm within Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We are an innovative and dynamic service who lead on child protection strategy within the South West.

The team includes forensic doctors, paediatricians, paediatric and specialist nurses, trauma therapists, management and admin support.

We benefit from being a specialist service within the newly integrated Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust which compromises 2 acute hospitals and community services across Devon. We also have good links with the Peninsula Medical School.

The post holder will be based in Exeter at the Paediatric Centre of Excellence.
