Role Summary
The post holder will develop, facilitate, deliver and evaluate a range of multi-professional programmes and teaching sessions in a diverse set of teaching approaches to improve the quality of nutritional care and patient experience at RDUH, in accordance with a range of national and organisational standards
The post-holder will implement initiatives such as Nutrition Champions who will promote ward/department nutritional care and cascade nutrition education and training using the ‘train the trainer’s’ approach.
The post holder will contribute to the development and update of Trust wide nutrition policies to improve clinical practice
The post holders will be expected to work collaboratively with their counter-part and will be expected to work across both sites.

Join our small, supportive and friendly team, and make a big difference ward staff training and the nutritional management of patients on the ward. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience or interest in developing educational programs and delivering education to various members of the MDT.
The post holder will focus upon the learning and professional development of clinical and non-clinical staff to positively influence the quality of nutritional care provided to patients and service users within RDUH. Through the education and development of the workforce, assist with empowering and enabling the ward/department teams to ensure that nutritional care is delivered to the highest standards to patients, utilising research and evidence-based practice, in line with RDUH policies and procedures and professional codes of practice.
Whilst this job is based within the dietetics team, we will consider applications from other registered professionals with significant experience in education and/or quality improvement. We have 2 posts available for 12 months, both posts will be expected to travel across sites.
