Role Summary

Actively participate in the aseptic preparation services of the pharmacy department under the professional direction of the Principal Pharmacist Technical Service. Responsible for the management and organisation of the daily workload planning and staff utilisation within the aseptic unit, including personal participation as required, under the direction of the Chief Technician Aseptic Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the pharmacy aseptic team at the Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation Trust at a time of innovation and service development.

The RD&E Aseptic Unit has a state of the art facility on-site and we are looking for a registered pharmacy technician with an interest in aseptic services.

The successful applicant will become part of the Aseptics Team. They should be highly motivated and with an excellent attention to detail. They should be organised, able to prioritise work effectively and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The post will suit a technician looking to develop their career in aseptic services if the required experience for the Band 5 post are not yet achieved. The successful applicant needs to be able to work in a demanding, busy and growing service.


Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Including weekend and bank holiday rosters.
