Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gynaecology Pre-assessment to develop as a Nurse specialist in Gynaecology outpatients, this role is a secondment for 32 hours pw, for 12 months as a Band 6 Registered Nurse to join our small existing team in clinic 1 . We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic forward-thinking professional who is seeking an exciting role within Women’s health and has an interest in gynaecological health including Preparation for surgery/ reassessment , postoperative care following Gynaecological surgery and Urogynaecology as the role will involve caring for this client group.

As part of the team your lead role will be in maintaining high standards of care to ensure optimum patient safety and experience. Both organizational and excellent communication skills are essential. We work closely with the wider Gynaecology unit including the ward, clinic 2 and the anaesthetists.
Within this role you need to be able to demonstrate evidence of leadership, motivation, excellent communication skills and good time management as it would involve supporting the ACP/Matron for Gynaecology Outpatient services.
The postholder will support with 1:1s and employee check-ins, as well as supporting with attendance management. They will support and encourage staff in the delivery of the service
Working Pattern: 0830-1800 Monday-Friday
