Royal Devon University Trust, Northern site (North Devon District Hospital, NDDH) Cardio-Respiratory department are recruiting for a highly skilled cardiac physiologist to join the cardiac physiology team.
North Devon is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with miles of golden surfing beaches and beautiful countryside. We therefore offer an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills whilst enhancing your quality of life.
We are a small but busy department providing a wide range of non-invasive investigations and are planning to start bradycardia pacing implant in the near future, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking physiologist to join the team.

The job role is to perform clinical physiology duties within the sphere of 'Cardiac Rhythm Management', acting as a physiologist / clinical scientist in this area. The post holder will provide specialist professional direction and expertise in the technical environment of the device implantation and follow-up as well as other aspects of CRM. They will act as a resource within the department to provide expert and specialist advice. NDDH is looking for a highly motivated individual to work along side our CRM lead and clinical collaegues to bring bradycardia pacing implantation to North Devon in the near future.
The successful candidate will have completed a BSc (Hons) in clinical physiology or equivalent. They will have IBHRE accreditation or at least 2 years equivalent experience at band 6 or above with further evidence of CPD focusing on cardiac rhythm management.
The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate a proven record working to a high standard with excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. They will be a team player and able to contribute to our multidisciplinary team, working closely with our Cardiology Consultants, specialist nurses and cardiology team members.
