Our Theatre Store Keeper / Senior Theatre Healthcare Support Workers form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings within our theatres teams.
Previous experience in a care environment is essential and English & Mathematics at GSCE grade A-C (9-4) or level 2 functional skills are the qualifications required. If you do not have a full practice-based level 3 qualification or equivalent experience, you will be required to complete this as part of your role. You will quickly become a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person.
The successful candidate will be as part of the team within the General theatres with the flexibility to support the other theatre departments if required.
The team – Our General theatre department covers a wide range of specialities: Colorectal, Upper GI, Urology, MaxFax & ENT, Plastics & Breast, Orthopaedic trauma, 24 hour emergency cover and we have recently opened a state of the art Hybrid Vascular suite. The successful candidate will be an integral part of this team to help meet the needs of our patients.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. The General theatres consists of 11 theatres. The department is operational and staffed 24 hours a day. Your duty pattern will be within Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6pm. Additional times outside of this pattern may be required during stocktake.
