Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Directorate. In this highimpact role, you will lead major programmes of work that shape the future of clinical and nonclinical services across the Trust. You will work closely with senior leaders, clinicians and partners to design and deliver transformational change that is high quality, effective and financially sustainable.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide expert programme and project management, oversee delivery of key milestones, maintain strong governance, and ensure programmes remain aligned with the Trust’s strategic priorities. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence change at scale and help us improve services for our patients, colleagues and communities.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead the planning, development and delivery of complex programmes and projects across the Trust.
  • Work with Executive Directors, senior leadership teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert programme and project management methodologies, including producing robust plans, business cases and documentation.
  • Maintain strong programme governance and ensure risks, issues and interdependencies are identified and managed effectively.
  • Develop and implement evaluation and monitoring systems to track outcomes, impact and benefits.
  • Facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders, navigating differing views and supporting collaborative decision‑making.
  • Produce highlight reports, progress updates and programme board papers.
  • Lead and line‑manage members of the Transformation Team, supporting their development and performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and help embed sustainable service change across the organisation.
