Role Summary

We are looking for someone to join us at our Tiverton Community Hospital site. The other community sites we cover are Crediton, Exmouth, Okehampton, Whipton, Ottery St Mary, Honiton, Axminster, Seaton, Budleigh, Sidmouth. 

We are a constantly growing service at all hospital sites, we provide professional care of all our patients from the start to the end of their appointments. We risk asses all of our patients and provide them with effective care tailored made to their individual needs. We are proud of the service we provide, and welcome new clinics regularly. We help with chaperoning and assisting the consultants from our most challenging ENT clinic to supporting Ultrasound a wide range of clinics we support. We work closely with other members of our multi-disciplinary team including the consultant’s physiotherapists and other services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant (band 3) with relevant qualifications and experience to join our community outpatients. To be based at Tiverton hospital but have the means to travel to other community hospital sites around East Devon.

This role would also be open for a band 2 developmental position at Tiverton only.

We help assist the doctors in outpatient clinics at the community sites. We are a small team but provide an excellent service for our patients. We have a wide range of clinics we cover and there is a great opportunity to learn new skills.

Working Pattern: 22.5 hrs from Monday-Friday. Long days from 8-18 and earlies and lates depending on clinic cover needs. We do not work weekends or Bank holidays.
