Retail Catering Admin Assistant

Role Summary

Reporting to the admin team leader, with support from the store’s supervisor, the post holder will provide daily till reconciliation. Maintaining accurate record of cash, card and meal voucher transaction, banking of all cash and managing the ordering and control of bulk change.

The post holder will respond to catering hospitality requests in a timely manner ensuring the queries are resolve and booking information is communicated to the catering retail team.

Responsibilities:
As a Retail Admin Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate store records, including inventory, sales reports, and staff Hospitality orders.
  • Assisting in the processing of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
  • Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and directing them to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Supporting the store management team in coordinating promotional activities and store events.
  • Assisting with stock management, including monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and placing reorders as required.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports for management review.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience in retail administration (preferred but not essential—training will be provided).
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Is proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using retail management software.
  • Is proactive and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Shows a customer-focused attitude and a willingness to support various store activities.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00
