Role Summary

  • Working within the Trust's values delivering high quality patient care
  • Work closely with the Renal MDT
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care of our patients using the new Epic electronic system
  • Communication between both patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information
  • Work in accordance with the NMC code

Creedy ward is a 26 bedded acute renal ward that offers a tertiary service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

This supportive environment is rich in learning opportunities to develop skills and knowledge. This includes learning all modes of Renal Replacement therapy under a structured, supportive learning environment under the supervision of our excellent Clinical Practice Facilitator. 

This post will offer a registered nurse an exciting opportunity to join a specialist area of nursing which incorporates acute, chronic and end stage renal disease as well as our service users who are post renal transplantation.  The long term nature of renal disease enables the team to build strong professional relationships with the patient group, whilst not impacting on the professional code. 

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours
