Role Summary

A Nursing role based in Tiverton day case unit, doing recovery, ward and preparation for surgery. 

Your main base will be here in Tiverton but there will be opportunities to work within the various community day case theatres including Exmouth, and Heavitree.

We are currently welcoming applications from enthusiastic nurses and ODPs to work within our busy, friendly day case unit here in Tiverton. The unit is open 5 days a week currently 7:30-6pm. No anti-social hours, no bank holidays and no night shifts! We can offer full or part time hours and we can also offer flexible working so your work life can fit easily around your home life.

There is ample free parking available and we are just off the M5 and the North Devon link road making your commute to work a breeze.

The hospital is a modern purpose built- the unit is full of natural light and fresh air and is a lovely relaxed and happy working environment.

We currently do Colorectal day case patients, local and general anaesthetics. We also do prep for surgery one stop clinics and cystoscopies. 

We all work together working in all areas of the department; the ward, anaesthetics, theatre, recovery and prep for surgery.  We can provide in house training and there are many opportunities to further your career available to you.

Tiverton is a bustling market town with a lovely high street full of independent shops and cafes. We are right on the Grand western Canal offering 11 miles of traffic free walking/biking paths. Exmoor is just on our doorstep where you can hike and bike. We are just an hour away from the lovely North Devon beaches of Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. The outstanding high school, Uffculme is only a 20 minute drive from the hospital. Tiverton is surrounded by villages that have excellent primary schools and are within the Uffculme high school catchment area.

Working Pattern: Full and Part time positions available. Monday to Friday. 7:30 to 6:00
