Role Summary

This is a newly created role within our Recruitment team, based in Newcourt House, Exeter.

As the Recruitment Partner your primary focus will be providing high quality, innovative solutions and advice aimed at ensuring the Trust attracts, appoints and retains the right people in our recruitment processes.

Newcourt House is a great location with beautiful grounds, which benefits from good transport links with bus and train routes nearby, as well as free onsite car parking. This role is primarily office based.

The Recruitment Partner and team will review all adverts before they are published, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the role and reflect our Trust's personality.

Be creative…

We are the largest employer in Devon, employing thousands of great people in hundreds of different roles!  We want our adverts to be interesting, accurate and easy to read.  Breaking down barriers and making our vacancies accessible is important to us.  You will reviewing and getting the best from adverts for a wide range of roles, and that takes skill.

You’ll need to be a great writer, be able to bring adverts to life and bring meaning to our recruitment campaign. Of course, correct any typos alnog the way!

Think ‘candidate’…

You’ll have access to a number of different job boards, so think big about where each job could be posted to maximise the audience.  You’ll have a great eye for process improvement and detail to enhance the candidate experience on their way through to successful appointment.

Be a ‘Partner’…

We have a huge number of different services across East, North and Mid-Devon. Our teams are busy and we need you to support our recruiting managers to make excellent recruitment decisions, from advert creation and placement through to shortlisting and interview.

Continuous improvement…

We are always looking for ways to make life easier for candidates and our recruiting managers – even the small things really matter. So you’ll take a continuous improvement approach to how we do things here. That’ll involve collating feedback from surveys from different stakeholder groups and prepare reports on our key performance indicators. You’ll then be part of a team implementing changes as we go.

The day to day…

You’ll supervise a small team with escalated queries relating to recruitment advertising. You’ll allocate work to the team, working with key colleagues to keep driving our key performance indicators in the right direction.

We also run a number of recruitment events across the year which can often fall on weekends, and a presence at some of these events is really important; plus it’s a great way to network with colleagues across the Trust.
