Role Summary
To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the consultant radiologists and the radiology team. Duties will include, audio typing of medical reports using CRIS and letters using Word, minute taking, preparation of agenda's and associated papers, diary managements, Consultants annual/study leave requests, liaising with GP's, Consultants and other hospital staff regarding imaging reports and coordinating outsourced medical reporting. The post holder is responsible for managing their own workload and to support secretarial and administrative colleagues in meeting department objectives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology Department for a Senior Medical Secretary. We are looking for an individual to work as part of an established secretarial team providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Consultant Radiologists and the radiology team.
We require an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person with an eye for attention to detail and accuracy to join our small team in this busy department. Candidates should be able to demonstrate ability in using their initiative, have excellent organisational and IT skills, a team player, be professional and reliable with excellent customer service skills, and have a good command of English both written and spoken. Radiology secretaries continue to type Radiology reports using the computer system, CRIS, and full training will be given to the successful candidate.
