Role Summary

To provide a comprehensive administration service to the Consultant Radiologists; the Radiology team and general public. Duties will include providing efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and reception duties with strict adherence to Trust policy; processing of referral forms by liaising with GP's, Consultants and other hospital staff regarding imaging reports and appointments in addition to dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquires. The post holder is responsible for managing their own workload and to support administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology Department for a part-time Administrator. We are looking for an individual to work as part of an established administration team providing an efficient service to the Consultant Radiologists, radiology team and the general public. 

We require an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person with an eye for attention to detail and accuracy to join our small team in this busy department. Candidates should be able to demonstrate ability in using their initiative, have excellent organisational and IT skills, a team player, be professional and reliable with excellent customer service skills. The Radiology department continue to use CRIS as its primary computer system in conjunction with EPIC and full training will be given to the successful candidate. The post holder will assist in the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services and provide a professional and empathetic interface between patients, their relatives or carers and the department.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
