We’re looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy SATO to join our small, friendly team. This role is essential to the day-to-day running of the department and offers a varied and interesting workload. You’ll be involved in:
- Handling and processing pharmaceutical and microbiological samples.
- Supporting environmental monitoring and quality control activities.
- Maintaining temperature monitoring systems, fridges and stock supplies.
- Managing certificates of analysis and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow structured procedures are key skills for this role. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and want to develop expertise in quality assurance and laboratory processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Are you passionate about quality and precision in healthcare? Join our Pharmacy Quality Management team and play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and excellence in pharmaceutical care.
This is an opportunity to join the Pharmacy Quality Management team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and help maintain the highest standards of patient safety. You’ll manage environmental samples and support key quality assurance activities that keep our services running smoothly.
Working with pharmaceuticals and microbiological samples, you’ll be critical in ensuring testing is completed on time and results are processed accurately. Your work will directly support our manufacturing department, Pharmacy Aseptic Services, Nuclear Medicine, and the wider Pharmacy team.
As a valued member of the Trust, you’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional care when patients need it most.
Successful applicants will be expected to participate in flexible working, including weekend and bank holiday rotas.

Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
