Main Duties of the Job
- Receive, check, and sign for deliveries of medicines to the Pharmacy.
- Accurately record stock received and ensure medicines are stored safely in the correct locations.
- Check for discrepancies in medication name, strength, formulation, and pack size.
- Refill stock and support accurate stock rotation and management.
- Work closely with Pharmacy colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our procurement service, primarily focusing on the receipt and safe storage of medicines delivered to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
As a valued member of our Pharmacy team, you’ll help ensure the efficient and accurate supply of medicines across the hospital. You’ll be joining an exceptional group of professionals committed to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care for our patients.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
