Job Title: Band 3 Podiatry Assistant / Senior Healthcare Assistant

About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Healthcare Assistant looking to progress your career and want a normal Monday to Friday shift pattern?
You will be looking after patients with a variety of foot conditions in a range of settings. Duties may include:
- Providing clinical support to podiatrists, including assistance in ulcer/wound care and surgical clinics.
- Running your own footcare clinics and domiciliary visits, providing nail care under the guidance of a podiatrist.
- Assisting in the day-to-day running of clinics, including preparation of clinic rooms, ensuring smooth operation of multi-disciplinary team clinics, managing stock, and handling clinical administration.
- Assisting with patient care and education, providing wound dressings, and liaising with other departments.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, motivated individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Level 3 qualification in healthcare.
- Good time management and IT skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Working Hours:
A healthy work-life balance is essential, and Devon is a great place to enjoy it. There are opportunities for full-time (37.5hrs per week) or part-time hours and have permanent and fixed term 12month roles available. We have a flexible working policy that we are happy to discuss to establish suitable options for you and the department.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30am to 16:30pm

One of the positions is a fixed term contract for 12 months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
