Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic medicines management technician to join our team at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford). We have a fully electronic prescribing system which is increasing the involvement and engagement of patients, carers and staff, transforming clinical services and care
Our team of hardworking, focused, ambitious and friendly medicines management technicians have helped develop the service across the trust and are valued members of the clinical pharmacy and ward teams making this is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and healthcare professionals whilst developing your skills and experience in Pharmacy

For more detail about the main duties of this role, please see the job description section below. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working. Please note that in order to deliver a high standard of care to patients the Pharmacy service operates 7 days a week and staff are therefore required to work some weekends as part of their contracted hours.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
