The Materials Distribution Assistant will be one of a team of 5 who are responsible for the replenishment of consumable goods within North Devon Hospital.

They will order, receive and put away stock to a pre-agreed catalogue and to an agreed schedule, working to a min/max level for stock holding
They will work with the Buyers to ensure a comprehensive catalogue of items is in place to support patient care.
They will work as part of the Procurement team, supporting colleagues and users within the Trust to ensure we provide an effective and efficient service. They will be the first point of contact for the stock holding on their own area, and will ensure that all queries or requests are answered accurately and professionally, in a timely manner.
To provide support and cover as and when required to check and electronically receipt deliveries of both medical and non-medical into the Trust; organise their delivery to the wards and departments in a timely manner.
To co-ordinate and provide physical assistance with moving goods to and from the warehouse when required.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
