Role Summary

The post holder will deliver professional and timely financial and business support and be fully integrated with the core activities within the organisation.

The post holder will also contribute to developing a culture of strong financial stewardship and control within the Trust promoting the need for economy, efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the Trust’s business.

Are you looking for a finance role in a friendly team working in a beautiful part of the world? Following internal promotion we are looking for an AAT Technician or part qualified accountant to join us as a Management Accounts Analyst at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a pivotal role supporting the Clinical Support & Specialist Services Management Accounts Team in ensuring that the Trust meets key financial objectives whilst delivering safe and sustainable services to our patients.  Clinical Support & Specialist Services covers a wide range of different services across Devon and Cornwall, the post holder will be able to work from home 2-3 days a week if they wish with the remaining 2-3 days being based in Barnstaple or Barnstaple and Exeter.

This role represents an excellent opportunity to use and develop your skills within a varied and busy environment. The successful candidate will be a qualified AAT Technician or Part Qualified Accountant and a member of their accountancy organisation, be reliable and flexible to respond to changing demands of the service.  Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.

Working Pattern: Normal office hours
