Role Summary

We are looking to recruit caring, compassionate and motivated individuals to join us at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (formerly Northern Devon Healthcare Trust). If you are an individual who is committed, enthusiastic and reliable then we would like you to join our friendly and supportive team here in AMU.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment which is rewarding and exciting. Due to the dynamic and diverse nature of the Department, the applicant will be exposed to a wealth of acute emergency patients providing opportunities to develop and enhance skills. The Department’s approach to care requires all individuals to work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide effective, high quality and safe care.

As part of your role you will expected to have or be willing to undertake a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care and be willing to complete the Care Certificate with 12 weeks of commencement of your post. Successful applicants who do not hold a care qualification will be required to undertake the apprenticeship programme at either level 2 or level 3 depending on experience.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours a week including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
