Role Summary

Working closely with the Community Business Manager and Admin Line Manager this role is key to the support of the Exeter South and West Team.  The post is the main contact for the team and building, including resolving issues or escalating as appropriate.  Monitoring of a central Admin inbox, working with Business Support, Senior Managers, Urgent Community Support, Therapy, Nursing and Social Care we are an integrated team so this role is varied.    The post holder is expected to update staff and phone lists, carry out walkarounds, support inductions, liaise with DCC as needed and build good links with the various contacts such as Health & Safety, Fire and our Estates etc.  The post also supports projects such as relocations and confidentiality is a must.  Supporting other colleagues as needed and supplying cover to C&E when the other coordinator is away.  Additionally support with recruitment, stores ordering, minute taking, organising training or other work / events as necessary.

Band 3 Health & Social Care Administrator

Are you looking for a varied role that you can make your own and develop?  We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, team player to provide support to the friendly Exeter Community South & West Team. 

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, flexible and dynamic team member with proven organisational skills in an admin environment. You should have strong IT skills and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages since you will be asked to provide statistics, help with reports and support the wider S&W team with general queries.  Knowledge of the NHS and DCC IT systems such as EPIC would be a benefit but training can be provided. This role works closely with the CBM & ALM to provide a central contact point for the S&W Exeter team, working closely with the C&E Administrator and helping organise, meetings, training, events and providing support to new projects etc.   You may also provide support to the wider team such as the PA, Therapy team and take minutes etc. As the main contact point for the building you will regularly liaise with facilities, security, Health & Safety, Governance and the fire officers.    Do you enjoy change, have a positive can-do attitude, excellent prioritisation skills and have the confidence to work independently?   I hope you will find this role of interest please call me if you wish to discuss the post further.
