The department offers a modern anaesthetic service for the population in North Devon.

Our anaesthetics, critical care and pain management department is friendly, successful and ambitious. Consultants will be supported by an established team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists, a psychologist, OT, social prescriber and physical exercise therapist. The Trust has an electronic patient record (EPIC), a multi-million-pound research facility, a significant development budget and big plans for the future. We will support new consultants to co-design a viable job plan and to develop innovative new services or pursue research and teaching interests.

We are based in the South West of England, in a county renowned for its natural beauty, schools, infrastructure and quality of life.
