Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Neonatology

Role Summary

Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity for a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest Neonatology at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a substantive post with a full-time job plan available but a less than full time role will also be considered for the right candidate.

Candidates with expertise in Cardiology are encouraged to apply but individuals with skills complimenting the needs of the department will also be considered.

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is a first-wave Foundation Trust that serves a population of 460,000 people from Devon ICB, with some specialist services such as Paediatric oncology including serving an excess of 800,000. The University of Exeter Medical School affords exciting opportunities to participate in both undergraduate teaching and research. The historic cathedral city of Exeter is situated in the middle of the South West Region with easy access to the countryside and coast of Devon and Cornwall. It is well served by rail, road and air links.

Applicants must be registered medical practitioners and either be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of completion of specialist training at the date of interview; you should provide evidence of this with your application.
