Role Summary

The post holder will be expected to provide administrative and secretarial support to the WEB Community Health & Social Care Teams and Managers.

  • To provide a good quality professional secretarial and administration service to the Community Teams
  • Specifically, this post will work with colleagues and team leaders to ensure that they provide a professional, efficient, accurate and timely service
  • Ensure all information is secure and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times
  • Provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy
  • To provide support/cover to Community Admin staff within the team
  • Ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times

Are you looking for an interesting and varied role which provides excellent grounding for future career development?

The Woodbury, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Health and Social Care Team are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly team player with a positive can-do attitude to join their team. You will work closely with the Clinical and Management Teams to provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to allow them to have patient focus.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, to prioritise the demands of a busy environment, and manage their time and workload effectively.  Excellent administration/ secretarial skills are essential, as well as a good understanding of customer relations. You will regularly be required to deal with queries from a wide range of staff groups. You will have the ability to work as part of a team working flexibly across the various Community Teams to achieve common goals.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30
