Are you passionate about improving wound care, driving high clinical standards, and supporting staff across acute and community settings? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist to join our Tissue Viability Service within the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across North and East Devon, supporting both acute and community teams. You will provide expert assessment, treatment planning and clinical advice for patients with complex wounds, while promoting evidence‑based practice and supporting the prevention and reduction of pressure ulcers across the organisation. As part of this role, you will be required to travel independently between sites, so a full driving licence is essential.
Working alongside the Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialists, you will contribute to service development, clinical audit, education, and quality improvement initiatives. You will support staff in developing their wound care skills, deliver training, and act as a specialist resource for colleagues across the Trust and partner organisations.
We are looking for a nurse with strong clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes. Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week. 8-5 Monday-Friday (with a half day) or 9-5pm 5 days per week.
