Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to become an integral member of a well-established, dynamic and forward thinking Head, Neck & Thyroid Cancer Specialist Nursing Team. The successful candidate will support a seamless pathway of care for patients across the clinical interface; including those with malignancies of the head, neck and thyroid and those who require benign or malignant artificial airway management.

The successful candidate will be supported in attaining the knowledge and skills required to work at an autonomous level within this highly complex and specialist field and will be offered opportunities for academic and clinical development. This small yet highly skilled Specialist Nursing team takes great pride in being proactive and responsive to the local needs of these complex patient groups and has a strong reputation for being a fundamental part of three esteemed Consultant Led Multidisciplinary Teams.

This role involves supporting patients across the primary and secondary care interface and is multifaceted, linking numerous interesting clinical areas together. It is therefore well suited [but not exclusive] to Registered Nurses with a Head and Neck nursing background.

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30 and 18:00 according to the needs of the service.
