  • Support and manage a complex caseload, delivering advanced assessment, treatment, and advice to patients and carers, as well as sharing skills and knowledge with the team.
  • Mentor, supervise, and inspire your team, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate across services, including GPs, hospital staff, community services, Social Care, and voluntary organisations, to ensure seamless, high-quality care pathways.
  • Drive service development and improvement, implementing changes that enhance patient outcomes and team performance.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated, experienced clinician who:

Why Join Us?

  • Make a real impact: Lead a valued, dynamic service that transforms patient care in the community.
  • Professional growth: Access to training, supportive peer working, and development opportunities.
  • Supportive, collaborative culture: Join a friendly and successful team that values innovation, inclusivity, and respect.
  • Be part of a service that’s always evolving, high in demand, and leading the way in community healthcare.

This role involves autonomous working, lone visits, and participation in UCR and management rotas, which may include some ad hoc weekend or bank holiday working. A full driving licence is essential for this post.

The postholder will, in time, be expected to join the Community On-Call rota. This is well-supported by the wider team and occurs infrequently. Cover is required across evenings, weekends and bank holidays, including overnight, with additional remuneration provided and the option of time off in lieu. There are other locations such as Seaton, Honiton, Sidmouth, Axminster and Ottery St Mary.

Lead a team, make a difference, and shape the future of Urgent Community Response.

Working Pattern: Full-time hours across Monday to Friday. Some ad hoc weekend or bank holiday may be required, including participation in the Community On-Call rota.
Flexible-working requests will be considered, providing this still allows the needs of the service to be met.

Interview Date (confirmed): Wednesday 22nd October at Honiton Hospital, EX14 2DE
