Role Summary
The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and undertaking the full range of administration and booking processes for Clinical Management Centre in accordance with Patient Access Policy and Trust standards.
This will include the booking of all outpatient appointments for New and Follow up patients in adherence with speciality booking processes and following the relevant standard operating procedures. Ensuring maximum utilisation of available clinic slots.

The Outpatients Department at North Devon District Hospital has an opportunity for a Clinical Booking Co-ordinator within the busy Clinical Management Centre.
The role will include booking of new/follow up appointments for various specialities, using Epic and ERS IT systems within local and national booking guidelines, liaising with outpatient reception teams, secretaries and other hospital staff in all areas of the hospital and all other aspects of administrative duties identified within the Clinic Management Centre.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1700
Hours to be worked over five days Monday - Friday, and there is some flexibility over the hours. The department is open 0800 to 1700. This role will be based at Devonshire House, Pottington, Barnstaple.
Interview Date: Monday 12th September 2022
This is a fixed term contract for 12 Months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
