The role covers services across both Northern and Eastern Surgical Specialities and Inpatient areas. We are looking for an individual with the drive, vision and passion for improvement, are you that person? Come and join a dynamic team in building and delivering effective quality and safety initiatives within the new Surgical Care group.

The post holder will work closely alongside the Director/Associate Director of Patient Care, Governance Leads, Patient Experience Leads and Clinical Leads to support the delivery of the quality objectives within the care groups objectives and plan. The role will provide clinical expertise in improvement methodologies to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.

The post holder will also be required to work closely with the Trust’s patient safety teams in supporting the delivery of the Patient Safety framework.

Key to the success of this role is the use of transformational leadership, improvement methodology and informatics to deliver change and support clinical teams to achieve safe, effective, harm free care and minimise patient safety risk.

Working as part of the care group leadership team the post holder will take day to day responsibility for key work-streams that support the delivery of high quality care, ensuring a compassionate and positive patient experience are at the heart of the nursing delivery system.
