Role Summary

The Estates & Facilities (EFM) Bank is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Bank Facilities Assistant – Transport (NDDH & RDE)

This provides essential support across Devon, ensuring the safe and timely collection and delivery of pharmacy supplies, medical specimens, mail, PPE, equipment, and general stores. 

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient care and operational services by maintaining efficient transport services between NHS locations and partner sites.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to work independently, manage their workload effectively, and handle confidential items with professionalism. 

Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering a reliable service are essential. 

Previous driving or delivery experience and knowledge of local routes would be advantageous but full training will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing a high-quality service that supports the smooth running of NHS operations and patient care.

For those travelling from Exeter to North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) travel time and a vehicle may be available. 

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering a high-quality service, and wants to contribute directly to the smooth running of NHS services and the delivery of patient care.

Working Pattern: Transport, Monday -Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00, depending on dates available to cover.
