You’ll become a key member of our North Devon Comprehensive Hernia Service – the largest abdominal wall service in the South of England. We receive complex referrals from across the South West and beyond, offering exposure to a wide range of challenging and rewarding clinical scenarios.

You’ll join a well-established team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners embedded within the General Surgery and Complex Hernia teams, working collaboratively across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

What You’ll Do

•    Contribute to the development and day-to-day running of the complex hernia service.

•    Lead and manage multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

•    Conduct telephone and face-to-face clinics, and support patients throughout their surgical journey.

•    Play a role in triaging referrals, surgical admissions, and co-running emergency clinics with consultant oversight.

•    Participate in the on-call surgical rota, managing undifferentiated patients and supporting ward rounds.
