Role Summary

To provide administrative support to the operational team which may include typing documents, retrieving and preparing patient records, filing and entering information onto computer systems in accordance with Trust policies. 

The post holder will be the first point of contact for clients to the establishment; this will include dealing with routine queries and providing information to patients’, relatives and staff either face to face or over the phone.  The post holder may be required to provide reception cover in a designated area

The purpose of this job is to provide administrative support to the Lynton Integrated Nursing Team and assist them to provide a seamless service to the local community. This will involve the use of electronic patient record such as System One and EPIC, assisting with audits and data collection, managing clinic appointments and stores ordering.

Lynton Integrated Nursing Team have a vacancy for an administrative assistant, Agenda for change Band 2. The post is 20 hours a week, spread over 5 days. We are a small and happy team to work with! If you are a team player and enjoy working flexibly in a close-knit environment, this post could be the opportunity you have been looking for! We work in the health Centre in close conjunction with the GPs, delivering a multi-faceted nursing service to the local community. Your job will involve supporting the nurses with telephone contacts with patients and colleagues, use of the electronic patient record systems to manage referral/work allocation/data collection and stores ordering.

Working Pattern: 20 hours over 5 days, 8.30-12.30, Mon-Fri
