An exciting opportunity has arisen within Oncology and Haematology. We are looking to recruit a Service Co-ordinator/Team Leader to support our patient facing administrative service. We are looking for someone who is passionate about service development and has the ability to motivate staff during times of challenging demands. Someone who is passionate about their staff’s health and wellbeing, encourages others to perform to the best of their ability and is committed to providing an excellent level of patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating a professional and efficient admin service to our busy Oncology and Haematology services, ensuring adequate staffing cover and being the first point of contact to resolve an admin issues. You will line manage all patient facing admin staff and assist in recruitment.

Liaising with the Clinical Teams across Haematology and Oncology, you will support the service by participating in discussions regarding service changes as driven by capacity and demand. Using your own initiate on a daily basis to prioritise the workload of the team to meet the changing demands of the service.

You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of Systemic Antic Cancer Treatments including Healthcare at Home and the Boots Nominated Pharmacy delivery services to ensure patients receive treatments in line with their treatment plan.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
